Entry is free of charge and includes access to the archives and our collections of photographs, postcards, books, pamphlets and bound collections of periodicals.<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4341d86b e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"4341d86b\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5d4adc23 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5d4adc23\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The centre offers an international perspective on the Great War, with an extensive library devoted to the military, political and cultural history of period 1910-1930.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>German, British and French reference works,<\/li>\n<li>Periodicals from all over the world (1914-1918)<\/li>\n<li>Documents pertaining to the art and iconography of the Great War<\/li>\n<li>Thematic collections: commemorative practices and monuments, literature, poetry and songs,<\/li>\n<li>Regionalism, reconstruction, religion\u2026<\/li>\n<li>Technical documentation and military training manuals, regimental histories<\/li>\n<li>First-hand testimony from soldiers (correspondence, military documents, private journals etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Doctoral theses and university dissertations<\/li>\n<li>Cemetery registers from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cartographical documents (&#8220;French Armies during the Great War&#8221;) The catalogue of works available at the Documentation Centre can be accessed below. Works can be consulted on site, by appointment.
